Large touch zones and keyboard equivalents
Practice, Story and Official Streak place two large controls beneath the arena so a thumb does not need to target a small icon during the decisive moment. Desktop players can use A for left and L for right without moving focus between interface elements.
Local two-player mirrors two complete control pairs around the shared arena. Player 1 can use A and F; Player 2 can use H and L. Labels remain visible so the physical layout can be understood before both people begin holding the controls.
Motion, sound and visual information
A reduced-motion preference limits nonessential animation while preserving the sequence required to understand the duel. Sound can be muted from the arena, and the valid direction is always shown visually rather than communicated through audio alone.
Colour supports status but is not the only signal: labels, scores, icons and result text identify what happened. Pixel art is rendered with deliberate hard edges, while surrounding interface text uses scalable browser typography for legibility.
Mobile browser layout
The duel layout uses the current visual viewport and safe-area insets so controls avoid the iPhone home indicator and display cut-outs. Safari can collapse its browser bars during play; adding High Noon Duels to the Home Screen offers a more app-like full-screen presentation.
Orientation changes can alter the space available around local two-player controls. The game supports portrait and landscape, but players should choose the position that lets both hands rest comfortably without covering the central arena. A stable device surface is recommended for shared play.
