The official controls and quick-draw rules for High Noon Duels on touch screens and keyboard.

01

The four beats of every duel

A High Noon duel begins with both controls held at the same time. The gunslingers walk away from one another while the game prepares a random signal. Keep both thumbs down: releasing before the signal is a false start.

When the command appears, lift both thumbs cleanly. The cowboys turn and the game identifies the side that must be pressed. Tap that side once. Your measured reaction runs from the valid fire prompt to the registered input.

  • Hold both sides
  • Wait through the walk
  • Lift both thumbs on the signal
  • Fire on the indicated side
02

What loses a round

Speed matters only after control. A premature release, an uncoordinated draw or a shot on the wrong side loses the round even when the final tap is fast. These rules stop guessing from becoming a winning strategy.

The requested side is random in every round. It is never stored in a ghost recording and no cosmetic item can reveal it early. The duel is therefore a test of attention followed by reaction, not memorization.

03

Touch and keyboard controls

On a phone or tablet, use the two large zones at the bottom of the duel. On desktop, Practice, Story and Official Streak use A for the left side and L for the right side.

Local two-player mode divides one device between two people. Player 1 uses A and F; Player 2 uses H and L. Touch controls remain visible so a phone or tablet can be placed between both players.
